VICTORIAN parents will have access to $200 vouchers helping their children participate in sport from early next year.
The State Government on Sunday announced $45.2 million in funding, with $21m to fund the Get Active Kids Voucher Program, and $24m to support schools and through Active Schools funding.
The voucher program is a Victorian first and will support children to get involved in organised activities by providing $200 vouchers to help families with the cost of sports equipment, uniforms or memberships.
